The woodland support is a box that has multiple different toys in it that are designed to help children with their speech problems. These games are all designed around helping language and communication. An NHS speech therapist has professionally assisted those I worked alongside to get the box right for the children and carers.

Skills that I have learnt thought-out this project

• Professional practice. This was where I learnt about how to conduct interviews and about design within the NHS

• Materials. This is where I learnt about non-toxic and the importance of durability within children's toys when used daily.

• Designing for two different ages. This box was designed for children and adults. This taught me about different stages of design and catching the attention of different customers.

• Wood skills. Through this project, I learnt a lot of skills in the wood workshop in how to create wooden toys for children that are applying and durable, alongside learning about the wood which is suitable for children's toys.
